COMINGLE FEST FAQ

◦ Will there be alcohol for sale or can I bring alcohol onto the property? No. And no means no. This is an alcohol free event. Please honor this rule as a respect to everyone who is on a journey deep inside of them for this event.

◦ What’s the deal with dinner? The dinner must be purchased at the ticket link BEFORE the event. They will only be for sale until May 14th. This way, we can plan properly for how many people need feeding. It is a Vegan meal front thefamilyvegan.com with produce provided by Urban Sprout Farms and will be DELICIOUS so is highly recommended.

◦ Is there parking? Yes, but it is limited to 150 spots so carpooling is strongly recommended.

◦ What should I bring? Yoga mats, meditation cushion, chairs, water bottles, blankets, cash (for snack/art/healing vendors). Though the main stage platform is shaded, sun protection recommended. Anything you would usually bring to an outdoor event. There will be water available on property as well as various snack/beverage vendors (kombucha, smoothies, etc.)

◦ I don’t feel I fit into a high consciousness, intentional gathering. Should I still come? The good news is; you don’t have to be enlightened to participate. We are not. Come as you are. All of you is welcome.

◦ I am [blank] race, [blank] nationality, [blank] sex, will I feel comfortable? Yes. We follow radical inclusion and radical self-expression.

◦ Do I really have to be there at 1:00 PM on Sat, May 18th? Highly recommended. The opportunity to contribute to the farm is a major karmic upgrade for anyone who commits to it. “As you give, so shall you receive".” We will also be leading an opening ceremony so if you want to partake in the energy of the opening circle, be there at 1pm.

◦ Is this age restricted event? No, children and young adults may join us for a discounted ticket price. Just know that it's an outdoors event with lots of people, in a green forest like space and there will be fire spinning later at night. There will be a “kids area” with some activities, but this is not a daycare. Parents must still remain with their kids. There will be scheduled kids activities during Yoga and the Twin Hearts meditation. Refer to program flow for content details.

◦ Can I bring my pets? No. Sorry. Those are house rules set by property owner. Except for service dogs with proper identification.

◦ Is there overnight camping available? No. This is the very first cOMingle Fest and is a single day festival. However, this is the test run to build towards a longer, 2+ day overnight camping festival in the fall of 2019 and onward. So it’s coming! :-)

◦ Where do I buy tickets? Tickets should be purchased beforehand at bit.ly/comingletickets but some will be available on site at the event.

◦ I feel drawn to this gathering, I would like to contribute. How can I do that? Come early on Saturday or Friday to help build and decorate the space. During the event, help volunteer at the greeter station. If you offer some form of healing/ therapeutic massage etc, please share that at the ‘Healing Tent’. Feel free to reach out to vibehivearts@gmail.com or Anthony, Rachel, or Carissa to get involved.

◦ What else can I bring to contribute? Bring fabrics, lights, pillows, tapestries, art and other decor. If you wish to do this, we suggest coming early.

◦ What about cigarettes, tobacco, drugs and/or firearms? No. Those are house rules set by property owner. Please be mindful as we want to be able to continue to host events here for years to come.

Master Class with Jessica at OnlYoga

Master Class with Jessica at OnlYoga

I am trialing the idea of a more regular Master Class (maybe once monthly??). I am personally missing practices where I have the time to cultivate space in my body and where I work alongside a community of strong ass individuals. This is the type of practice that challenged me in my first 200 Hr training at OnlYoga, the type of work I saw in Budokon, and the daily practice I went through in my 300 Hr training.

I’m going to be real here, this will be led as a balls to the wall asana practice. We will work to clear a path through our bullshit and to see what we are truly capable of (and that at times will be accepting just where we are).

This practice will be a place for you to work on advancing your asana practice. I will not workshop asanas in this class. It will be a place for us to explore interesting transitions, arm balances, inversions, binds, and more. It will be a space for you to up-level your practice as it feels natural in the flow, or to not. This practice will be a place where we get to play with options for our practice that may not ever be offered in an all-level studio vinyasa practice.

We will also incorporate in pranayamas and chanting at times that we may not get to see as often in the studio as well as a luscious shavasana.

You will be the master of your body in the class, so the option to take breaks, modify as you need or push yourself as you need are always there. I will be there as a support as you need in any way that I can. After practice will be the time where we can break down asanas and discuss the practice.

If you feel slightly nervous about joining, Perfect!!!! Let’s show up and support one another.

Class is non-refundable. Special pricing for this first class!

Chilling in Creativity: A Special Workshop

Chilling in Creativity: A Special Workshop

Please join me for this special collaborative workshop as I join together with two incredible women to create an experience where there will be time to bask in relaxation, introspection, giving and receiving, as we look at exploring some aspects of dharma and karma.

I felt compelled and pulled to teaching despite being so shy I could barely get in front of people and speak complete sentences. I do believe it is part of my life's work and purpose. When I meet other's that have followed in their own passion pursuits, I want to help lift them up and share them with new people they may not have encountered.

This restorative/yin style practice will be accompanied by the beautiful music of cellist Jean Gay. There have been studies that show benefits of classical music ranging from decreased stress/anxiety/blood pressure levels to increased creativity/productivity to helping with sleep and pain. There has also been research into the benefits of learning to play instruments as we get older in regards to memory and mental functions.

You will be surrounded by the beautiful artwork of Meagan Jain. I met her when she was a former student who exuded an unending passion for working with the 'elderly'. She founded the nonprofit 'Ageless interAction' whose mission it is to bridge the age barrier and support all of us in the process of aging through creative arts. Her love of giving back is vibrant and evident. Her artwork and mural work is outstanding.

I would love to have you join us in this sensory experience where hopefully you can begin to forge a deeper connection not only with yourself, your truth, and your own creativity, but others who are working to serve the community and create change as well.

Let me know if you have any questions. My contact is tayloredforyouyoga@gmail.com.

Free Flow @ Velo (Earth Day)

Join me for what could be the first of a weekly event!

I'm finding yoga in the city becoming more cost prohibitive and corporate and I'd like to bring it back to being about the community. I'm teaming up with a local small business, Cafe + Velo, to bring you a free weekly class. We'll be trying one on the weekend and one on Wednesday mornings at 7am.

Cafe + Velo will be unveiling a new menu in addition to their yummy crandwiches and they have either a lovely patio or rooftop deck for us to practice on. Bring your yoga mat. Would love to see you there.

'Budokon' broken down translates to the way of the warrior and we will use this workshop to work towards finding a balance between our inner yogi and our fierce warrior.

Please come prepared with a water bottle and a long sleeved shirt for the mobility work.

Movement and Music Workshop

Movement and Music Workshop

I have had dreams of a yoga practice with live instrumental music for years. I am excited to partner up with the talented Atlanta based musician, Wesley Cook, for this workshop. He lives his life with a mindfulness and awareness that I believe will be utterly congruent to this offering. I would love for you to join us in a special vinyasa style practice followed by an extended cooling off and shavasana.

There has been research and studies into some of the healing benefits of live music. It has been shown it can affect certain neurotransmitters, for example, those that affect our feelings of happiness and stress among others. Like my other workshops, there will be time after the physical practice to reflect upon the experience, document in journals that I will provide if you don't have your own, and to share with one another as a community.

Please check out Wesley at https://www.wesleycook.com/home.

If you have any questions, please email me at tayloredforyouyoga@gmail.com. Purchase here or on the products page.

I would like my workshops to be as accessible as possible, so am pricing them at the same value as a studio class. Would love for you to join!

Yin Yoga Sound Immersion Workshop

******SOLD OUT****** THANK YOU********

This will be a very special workshop that will combine an introspective Yin practice accompanied by special guest, Joshua Roberts. You will explore sensations of the body while experiencing thoughts, feelings and emotions of the mind. While on this journey you will be bathed by sounds that Joshua will create with didgeridoos, Aboriginal woodwind instruments, medicine drums, amongst others and you will get to take in some of his own specialized singing.

Like my previous two workshops and the one that follows this, you will be given a journal if you do not have one of your own. There will be time after the immersion, and during this one as well, to write down anything that comes up for you. We will also have time to chat and commune with one another after as well.

I invite you to explore possibly a new type of practice for you if you have not practiced Yin Yoga before. If you have, I am delighted to introduce in live sound, especially the types that I find will vibrate you to your core!

I would love for everyone to come who can so I am pricing all of my workshops at what you would pay for a regular class.

Purchase your reservation for this at www.tayloredforyouyoga.com. You can either purchase on the products page or under the workshop/retreat header.

Please let me know if you have any questions and email at tayloredforyouyoga@gmail.com.
